Today's consumption is changing. We as consumers take a stand, many people choose locally grown products over the long-distance alternatives, never before has the range of organic products been greater. At CU jewelery, we want to do what we can to minimize our impact on the earth. In 2015, all our production was moved to Italy, which affects not only the distance of transport but also the quality and durability of our jewelry.  We feelt that it was time to take the next step, towards a greater environmental awareness. We have previously worked with degradable boxes, and from autumn 2015 we have also chosen to work with recycled silver. Our products consist of at least 70% recycled silver, which means that environmental impact is drastically reduced. If you notice that our labels have changed, we have also undergone a change, even the small details are now printed on environmentally certified paper.

In the fall of 2018, we began to work actively on receiving silver from end consumers through our environmental ambassadors. This is also to reduce the impact on the environment and to take advantage of silver that is already in circulation, but which is no longer used for various reasons.
